The ideal candidate will provide visionary HR guidance to the Chief Executive and Board, fostering a high-performing culture that embodies the company's values of care, compassion, dignity, and teamwork.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR leadership, advising the Board, Executive Team, and senior managers on people-related matters.
  • Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, staff development, employee relations, and organizational change.
  • Embed equality, diversity, and inclusion principles across the organization.
  • Lead organizational development initiatives, including change management and talent development.
  • Develop recruitment and retention strategies to attract and sustain a skilled workforce.
  • Ensure governance compliance, advising on workforce-related matters and producing reports for the Board and relevant committees.
  • Design comprehensive learning and development programs to support career growth and succession planning.
  • Establish fair and competitive pay structures, ensuring alignment with sector standards.
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns promptly and fostering a positive workplace environment.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of senior HR leadership at board level within social care.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, workforce planning, and organizational development.
  • Expertise in EDI initiatives and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Experience in managing complex HR challenges, including change management and employee relations.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets related to payroll and staff development.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation Package:

  • An attractive salary range of £100,000 - £110,000 per annum.
  • Car allowance.
  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Generously matched pension contribution.
