Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Financial Secretary to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide professional and cheerful telephone/front of house manner, excellent timekeeping, communication skills, grammar, accurate message taking and forwarding, organizational skills, and demonstrate fast accurate typing.
  • Database Management: Set up and maintain Excel/other databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Financial Administration: Look after limited company clients' financial accounts affairs, working directly with the Director and Office Manager.
  • Office Management: Daily running of the office, including emails, post, and telephone, as well as maintaining a clean and tidy reception and meeting room.
  • Secretarial Support: Provide secretarial cover and work with other Secretaries and Office Manager to achieve goals.
  • Website Maintenance: Keep the company's website up to date.

Requirements:

  • Education: Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) minimum, with grades A-C to include English and Maths.
  • IT Skills: Strong IT skills, with an aptitude towards spreadsheets, databases, and word processing (Microsoft Office).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, with a focus on administration, database management, and financial administration.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
