Child and Family Support Worker

This post involves working in an urban patch as well as a significant rural area, requiring efficient travel to meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities- We work together to build resilience, address inequalities, maximise individuals' potential, and contribute to citizenship, inclusivity, and fairness for individuals and families.
- We undertake outcomes-based assessment and care planning in accordance with agreed NHS policies and procedures.
- Liaising with statutory, third-party, and independent agencies and professionals to achieve positive outcomes for people.
- Maintaining accurate records in accordance with NHS Highland policies and procedures.
- Preparing reports.
- Participating in internal and external social work and multi-disciplinary meetings as directed.
- Carrying out lead responsibilities under the direction and supervision of the Team Manager.
- Preparing thoroughly for professional supervision.
- You should have good communication skills and be able to reach a high standard of professional verbal and written communication in various environments.
- You need to be able to negotiate and liaise with other professionals and agencies in the interests of service users.
- You must be able to work as a member of a team by establishing positive working relationships.
- Confidence and ability in the use of IT systems are required.
- You must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) on the Social Worker part of the Register.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a proportionate workload are necessary.
The estimated salary for this role is £32,000 - £43,041 per annum.
