Our client is a leading provider of training and development services to the automotive industry, renowned for its high-quality products and services. The company operates a training academy responsible for the learning and development strategy for a prominent automotive brand and its network.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and relevance of our data, identifying trends and insights that inform business decisions, and providing data-driven recommendations to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all existing data sources are up-to-date, robust, and relevant, including various internal dashboards.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis using a variety of data sources to identify root causes, trends, customer behavior, competitor analysis, and common themes.
  • Act as the voice of the academy for all KPI data, regularly reviewing and updating internal and external communications.
  • Collaborate with the Data and Insight teams to optimize data usage, measure the impact of academy initiatives, and validate the commercial impact of academy programs.
  • Provide data reporting to academy management to support project work and meetings.

Requirements

  • Strong numerical skills with experience in formal project management.
  • Experience in data analysis, business insight, and making recommendations based on trends.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI or equivalent business insight tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

  • Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills.
  • Commercial acumen with proven analytical and dashboarding experience.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders based on data-driven insights.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
