**Job Title:** Flavor Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Flavor Development Specialist to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. This is a permanent position with a family-run business, one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of E-Liquids.

About the Role:

  • Establish and manage a flavour lab to develop new e-liquid flavours and concentrates.
  • Develop and oversee flavour formulation projects from procurement to launch.
  • Ensure quality control standards are met by formulating flavours compliant with regulatory requirements and restrictions.
  • Scale up lab-scale flavours for mass production while maintaining health and safety standards in the manufacturing unit.
  • Research and create new e-liquid flavours and concentrates using fundamental flavour chemistry and sensory perception knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage flavour formulation projects, including procurement, development, and launch.
  • Oversee the establishment and management of a flavour lab, ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available.
  • Maintain accurate records of flavour formulations, including recipes and testing results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on flavour development goals and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry or Food Science.
  • In-depth knowledge of fundamental flavour chemistry and sensory perception.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £42,000 - £62,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
