We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Youth Development Specialist to join our team at Lincolnshire County Council. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social care and the ability to work effectively with children and young people.

**Job Summary:**

This role involves working with children and young people to identify and address their needs, providing support and guidance to ensure they reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, families, and colleagues.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assess and develop individualized plans for children and young people to meet their unique needs and goals.

- Provide high-quality support and guidance to help young people overcome challenges and achieve their aspirations.

- Collaborate with colleagues from various departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting young people.

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with families, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and seamless support.

**Requirements:**

- A relevant qualification in social care or a related field (e.g., Level 1 or 2 qualified Practitioner).

- Experience of working with children and young people, ideally in a similar role or capacity.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.

- Ability to travel effectively and respond to last-minute visits or appointments.
