**Job Overview:** SGS Care Ltd is seeking a qualified Children’s Home Team Leader to join their team in a rural village. As a Care Academy Education Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychological, and social needs of the children are consistently met to a high standard.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience working with children or young adults aged between 4 to 24. You will work under the direction of the management team, delivering therapeutic caregiving on a shift pattern, including days, evenings, waking nights (when required), weekends, bank holidays, sleeping-in duties, and lone working.

You will be responsible for establishing caring, secure relationships with children, modelling relationship-based caregiving, and implementing admission protocols to ensure children feel welcomed and informed about their care. You will also:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, promoting their wellbeing and empowerment.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of care plans and quality services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and practices to support the welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
