We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Manager to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. As a leader in our residential services, you will be responsible for promoting the welfare and safeguarding of vulnerable children and young people in our care.

Salary: £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The successful candidate will have a strong background in child welfare and development, with experience in managing residential services and promoting positive relationships with service users. You will also be expected to contribute to the overall success of our organisation and develop strategies to improve our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing our residential teams to deliver high-quality services
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users through effective risk assessment and management
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour change and support the emotional and psychological needs of our service users
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting incidents in accordance with organisational policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Level 3 in Children's Residential or equivalent qualification
  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's and Young People's Service) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant residential care role for children within the last 5 years
  • Experience managing or assisting in an Ofsted inspection
  • In-depth knowledge of Quality Standards and Children's Homes regulations
