Child Care Professional

At SGS Care Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated Child Care Professional to lead our team as a Residential Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the welfare and safeguarding of vulnerable children and young people in our care.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong commitment to child welfare and development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our residential services, promoting positive relationships with service users, and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing our residential teams to deliver high-quality services
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users through effective risk assessment and management
- Developing and implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour change and support the emotional and psychological needs of our service users
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting incidents in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Level 3 in Children's Residential or equivalent qualification
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's and Young People's Service) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant residential care role for children within the last 5 years
- Experience managing or assisting in an Ofsted inspection
- In-depth knowledge of Quality Standards and Children's Homes regulations
