Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2025 with the possibility of extension

Salary Scale: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Deadline: The deadline for applications is September 6th.

We are seeking a passionate individual to support Young People to have their voices heard in matters that affect them. This part-time role will involve delivering participatory consultations, facilitating advisory boards and engaging young people in various events using a participatory approach.

The Development Officer, alongside colleagues, will be responsible for developing and implementing Children in Wales' participation programme through direct work with children and young people and practitioners and organisations supporting them.

  1. To inform and enable children and young people to participate effectively and have their views heard by policy makers through Young Wales and other participation activities.
  2. Support the implementation of Article 12 of the UNCRC by gathering the voice of the child to inform policy development.

Interviews will take place on August 12th or 13th.
