Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Youth Practitioner to contribute to our youth programme, focusing on providing accessible food services and enhancing young person well-being. The successful candidate will work closely with children and young people to develop programmes that address their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement creative programmes that cater to the diverse needs of children and young people.
2. Design and deliver engaging workshops on topics like fake news, anxiety, bullying, friendships, racism, street safety, and grooming, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
3. Plan and lead food-related activities, including meal planning, healthy eating discussions, and teaching basic cooking skills.

Requirements:
1. Experience working with children and young people (10-18 years old).
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with children and young people.
3. Preferred background in Youth Work, Children and Family services, Residential Services, or linked Services.
4. Must be able to drive, have access to a car, and hold a current enhanced DBS.

Working Arrangements:
This role is based in Cardiff, South Wales, with a salary range of £16 - 19 per hour + VAT (negotiable), offering 15 hours/week (Mondays and Tuesdays, 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM) and potential for extension.
