Hours of Work: 21 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term

Salary Scale: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a part-time Officer for Youth Engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement Children in Wales' participation programme.

This role involves delivering participatory consultations, facilitating advisory boards and engaging young people in various events using a participatory approach. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with children and young people.

The role requires the candidate to gather the voice of the child to inform policy development and ensure that children and young people have a say in matters affecting them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Children in Wales' participation programme
  • Deliver participatory consultations, facilitate advisory boards and engage young people in various events
  • Gather the voice of the child to inform policy development

Requirements:
