Job Title: Community Development Worker - Young People

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join NPT Pass as a part-time youth worker in Cwmllynfell Youth Club. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people, while also developing your skills and career in the field of youth and community work.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work with young people and colleagues to deliver a range of activities, and will need to be highly motivated, organised, and skilled in developing activities in a fun and safe environment.

This role involves delivering projects and activities in line with Citizenship, Art, Sport, Health, and Welsh, which includes DoE and youth forums. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with young people between the ages of 11-24 in a variety of settings.

The salary for this position is estimated at £14.03 per hour depending on qualification. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects and activities that promote community cohesion and broaden horizons.
  • Support young people to become involved in the design, delivery, and evaluation of services and activities at the youth club.
  • Ensure that local authority policies and procedures are observed in respect to safeguarding, equal opportunities, and health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Relevant national youth work qualification required for registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) before employment commences is mandatory.
