Youth Participation Specialist

Are you passionate about empowering young people to have their voices heard in matters affecting them?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Development Officer - Children's Voice
This is a part-time role that will involve delivering participatory consultations, facilitating advisory boards, and engaging young people in various events using a participatory approach.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our participation programme through direct work with children, young people, practitioners, and organisations that support them.
The key objectives of this role include:
- To inform and enable children and young people to participate effectively and have their views heard by policymakers.
- Support the implementation of Article 12 of the UNCRC by gathering the voice of the child to inform policy development.
In terms of remuneration, we offer a competitive salary scale ranging from £24,000 to £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
