We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Specialist to join our expanding team at an acute mental health hospital. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including nursing, clinical psychology, social work, and occupational therapy. You will be responsible for taking an active role in service and quality development activities and participating in governance meetings and Service Line meetings as necessary.

The environment operates a non-residential medical on-call rota, and you will be expected to participate on the on-call rota, which is on a second on-call basis, 1:7. You will be required to have essential qualifications, such as MRCPsych or equivalent, a GMC Licence to practice, and evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR).

To be considered for this role, you will need to have strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients. Requirements for this role:

  1. Essential qualifications: MRCPsych or equivalent
