Leadership Opportunity

The NHS has an exciting opportunity for a Forensic Psychological Therapies Manager to join our team at the Bracton Centre. As a leader, you will be responsible for providing clinical input to an acute ward and line managing/clinically supervising qualified and pre-qualified psychological therapists.

This role involves undertaking wider leadership roles within the service, including responsibility for delegating tasks pertaining to governance, contracts, monitoring, and service developments.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop and expand leadership skills in a large and well-regarded forensic specialty.

  • This position offers a chance to contribute to creating a psychologically safe environment and promoting patient, carer, and staff safety and wellbeing.
Role Responsibilities
  • To work autonomously with professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
  • To deputise for the inpatient psychological therapies lead in their absence.
  • To utilise research skills for audit, research, and policy and service development within the forensic specialties directorate.
  • Act as a role model and champion the Trust's vision and values.

Salary: £67,950 to £78,028 per annum (pro rata).
