Spiritual Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Spiritual Care Support Specialist to join our team at St. Joseph's Hospice of London.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide spiritual support and care to residents, clients, and caregivers in our 10-bed residence and community, as well as to the London Middlesex Palliative Care Outreach Team.
Main Responsibilities:
• Assess spiritual needs and provide spiritual support and interventions for unique faith requirements.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to direct spiritual and supportive care programming.
Requirements:
• University degree in Religious, Theological or Pastoral studies, Master's degree in counselling, or equivalent.
• Member of Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC) preferred.
• Certificate in Pastoral Care or equivalent.
• Certificate in the Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care or commitment to obtain.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and possess reliable personal transportation and be approved by insurance carrier to drive personal vehicle.
