Support Teacher for Students with Special Needs

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Teacher to work with students with special needs at one of our partner secondary schools. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to students in mainstream and one-to-one capacities up to Key stage 5.
Your Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing learning materials and leading classroom activities to ensure each child has maximum access to all learning activities.
• Provide emotional and physical support to young people in your care, helping them develop as individuals and engage with the world.
• Work closely with class teachers to deliver tailored support to individuals and small groups within a classroom environment.
About You
We are looking for an adaptable and caring individual who is ready to work in various classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors, according to individual need. A responsive approach, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential. While experience is not required, a driven and ambitious individual who can contribute to a supportive team culture is ideal.
