Job Opportunity: SEN Teacher (Permanent)

A reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join the permanent staff at their Northampton site. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and dynamic team, committed to providing high-quality education for students with Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties.

  • Collaborate with support staff and external professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach students with SEMH/SEN in a school or similar setting.
  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies to meet the needs of students.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure student progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH/SEN.
  • Patient, resilient, and committed to making a real difference in young people's lives.

Salary: Estimated £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Taking into account the cost of living in Northampton, we estimate that this role will be around £25,000 - £35,000 per year. This figure includes all statutory holiday pay and takes into consideration the company's salary structure.
