About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance tasks, prioritizing repairs, and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaising with the maintenance team to ensure urgent remedial works are flagged for action
  2. Coordinating work tasks, priority levels, and updates between teams and departments
  3. Answering phones and dealing with internal and external queries
  4. Maintaining maintenance inventory and requisitioning parts and supplies as needed
  5. Recording information for unfinished calls/tasks to shift change
  6. Raising purchase orders, liaising with contractors and suppliers, paying invoices, and filing and organizing information
  7. Participating in the engineering shift rota pattern
  8. Developing knowledge of hotel structure, fixtures, fittings, and plant
  9. Communicating effectively with all departments
  10. To liaise with subcontractors, ensuring they are on site as and when required
  11. To prepare necessary reports for senior management

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks

Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme, healthcare scheme, interest-free season ticket loans, and access to a 24/7 employee assistance program.
