About this role:

As a Regional Sales Team Lead at BYD Europe, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in your designated region. This involves managing effective partnerships with our Retailer Network to deliver mutually profitable sales and an excellent customer experience.

You will oversee the work of a team of Sales Support Specialists and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of sales and supply. Your responsibilities will also include building strong relationships with Retailer Partners, monitoring sales performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Grow the Retailer Network rapidly by onboarding new partners efficiently and ensuring they are fully trained and supported.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with individual Retailers, fostering trust and collaboration as we expand across the UK.
  • Drive Retailer sales performance through continuous analysis and identification of areas for improvement, sharing best practices across the network through regular meetings and communications.
  • Ensure that BYD delivers an exceptional level of Customer Experience, highlighting areas for improvement and implementing changes within the company or network.
  • Coordinate relevant product marketing training and sales program information effectively, ensuring the Retailer team understands their roles and responsibilities.
  • Resolve any issues experienced by Retailers or customers directly or by escalating them to the relevant team members, enabling root cause analysis and process/system updates.
  • Manage wholesale vehicle ordering from Retailers to balance stock volume and mix, achieving desired sales levels while ensuring rapid stock turnover.
  • Oversee Retailer Marketing activity, collaborating with the central marketing team to ensure consistent and effective campaigns, analyzing activity against sales rates, and suggesting increased focus on high-potential channels/models when necessary.
  • Monitor incoming enquiries, maintaining excellent lead management processes across all Retailers, analyzing conversion KPIs to identify potential issues in the sales process and lower-than-expected enquiry levels, and initiating actions to improve.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits package including Scottish Widows workplace pension, 25 days paid holidays and public holidays, on-site free parking, department and company-wide team-building events, and an exciting opportunity to lead the European transition to Zero Emissions transportation and decarbonization of the economy.
