Regional Sales Manager Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth, managing partnerships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Objectives & Responsibilities- Rapidly grow our retailer network by onboarding new partners and monitoring their progress.
- Build strong relationships with individual retailers, fostering a collaborative approach to drive mutual success.
- Monitor and improve retailer sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth and best practices sharing across the network.
- Ensure BYD delivers an excellent customer experience, identifying areas for improvement and driving change within the organization or network.
- Share relevant product marketing training and sales programs information effectively with retailer teams.
- Resolve issues experienced by retailers and customers directly or through the appropriate team members, enabling process or system changes when necessary.
- Manage wholesale ordering of new vehicles by retailers to achieve required sales volume while ensuring rapid stock turnover.
- Oversee retailer marketing activity, collaborating with the central marketing team to ensure consistent and effective initiatives.
- Monitor incoming enquiries and maintain excellent lead management processes at all retailers, analyzing conversion KPIs to highlight potential issues or lower-than-expected enquiry levels.
- Proven experience in the automotive or retail industry, with a track record of success.
- Ability to adapt quickly, take responsibility for delivering solutions, and work collaboratively as part of a small team launching a new brand in the UK.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, including decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the capacity to establish productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to travel frequently within the region, with constant presence onsite at retailers essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, with data analysis and report writing capabilities.
- Right to work in the U.K.
We offer competitive remuneration based on performance and experience, as well as other benefits such as a Scottish Widow workplace pension and 25 days paid holidays per year. The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
