About the Opportunity

This is a unique chance to join BYD Europe as a Regional Sales Manager and contribute to the company's European transition to Zero Emissions transportation and decarbonization of the economy. You will be responsible for leading sales efforts in the UK and Ireland, growing the retailer network, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the automotive or retail industry, with a track record of success. They should be able to adapt quickly, take responsibility for delivering solutions, and work collaboratively as part of a small team launching a new brand in the UK. Strong project management and organizational skills, including decision-making and problem-solving abilities, are also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Growing the retailer network by onboarding new partners and monitoring their progress.
  • Building strong relationships with individual retailers, fostering a collaborative approach to drive mutual success.
  • Improving retailer sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth and best practices sharing across the network.
  • Ensuring BYD delivers an excellent customer experience, identifying areas for improvement and driving change within the organization or network.
  • Sharing relevant product marketing training and sales programs information effectively with retailer teams.
  • Resolving issues experienced by retailers and customers directly or through the appropriate team members, enabling process or system changes when necessary.
  • Managing wholesale ordering of new vehicles by retailers to achieve required sales volume while ensuring rapid stock turnover.
  • Overseeing retailer marketing activity, collaborating with the central marketing team to ensure consistent and effective initiatives.
  • Monitoring incoming enquiries and maintaining excellent lead management processes at all retailers, analyzing conversion KPIs to highlight potential issues or lower-than-expected enquiry levels.
