Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our McMillian Head and Neck Clinical Nurse Specialist team in the Institute of Neurological Sciences, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a specialist nursing service to support a caseload of patients with head and neck cancer in an outpatient, inpatient, day care and community setting.
- Be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, providing and facilitating effective care and treatment for patients and their significant others.
- Have extensive Head & Neck nursing knowledge and expertise in the support of patients with head and neck cancer, throughout the disease trajectory, from diagnosis, through treatment, cure or palliation.
About the Team: Our team provides a specialist nursing service to support patients with head and neck cancer. We work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
What We Offer: As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and to develop your skills and expertise in head and neck cancer nursing.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in head and neck cancer nursing and a strong understanding of the disease trajectory. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
