The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity based in South Glasgow, providing specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting and progressive illnesses and support for their families and carers.

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Locum Specialty Doctor to join our medical team for a period of 12 months. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced professionals, delivering high-quality holistic care to patients with complex palliative care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care to patients, families, and carers across various care settings, who have complex pain, symptom, spiritual, and psychosocial needs requiring Specialist Palliative Care intervention.
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients with non-cancer conditions, such as COPD and heart failure, and neurological conditions like MND.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to delivering high-standard palliative care. Experience in Palliative Medicine is desirable but not essential.

Salary and Contract
