Strategic Commercial Growth Specialist

Elegen, a pioneering force in synthetic biology, seeks an accomplished professional to spearhead commercial growth in Europe. As the first European-based hire for Elegen's commercial team, this opportunity presents a chance to build and drive transformative synthetic DNA products.
About the RoleThis role demands strategic thinking and execution to establish a robust early-stage commercial presence in the market. Key responsibilities include:
- Meeting sales targets by leveraging market expertise and lead generation activities to support new customer acquisition and relationship management techniques for developing key accounts;
- Analyzing customer needs to identify current and new product fit and providing voice of customer feedback to inform Elegen's product roadmap;
- Maintaining and expanding the client database within Europe; and
- Focusing on and developing new key accounts with the capability to generate consistent volumes of business.
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of achieving goals on a quarterly and annual basis, with a minimum of 6 years of sales and/or business development experience in the life science industry. Additionally, they should have a strong network of industry contacts aligned with Elegen's target markets, as well as excellent written and verbal English language skills.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is around €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on the job requirements, industry standards, and the need for a highly skilled professional to drive commercial growth in Europe.
