**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team at the Valuation Tribunal for Wales. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our office equipment and cloud-based systems.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of SQL databases and their interactions with websites and mobile devices. You will provide technical support to end-users, train staff in the use of Office 365 applications and our in-house systems, and work on system improvement projects.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for maintaining IT asset registers, documenting system processes, identifying and mitigating IT risks, and assisting in the implementation and enforcement of IT policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including office equipment and cloud-based systems
  • Provide technical support to end-users and train staff in the use of Office 365 applications and in-house systems
  • Work on system improvement projects, including website development and database maintenance
  • Maintain IT asset registers and document system processes
  • Identify and mitigate IT risks, and assist in the implementation and enforcement of IT policies and procedures

**Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SQL databases, network administration, and cloud-based systems. A degree in Computer Science or a related field would be beneficial.

**Salary and Benefits:
