Job Title: Distribution/Wholesale Channel Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Distribution/Wholesale Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth within the North West region. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies to increase market penetration of product ranges, ensuring that distribution partners and wholesale accounts achieve their sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement channel sales strategies aligned with the company's overall goals.
  • Channel Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key distribution and wholesale partners. Develop proposals and pitches to win new accounts.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse sales performance data, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of key accounts, negotiating contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure effective product launches, promotions, and inventory availability for distribution partners.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of FMCG distribution and wholesale channels, with a proven track record of delivering sales growth.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent ability to foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, wholesalers, and internal teams.
  • Negotiation & Communication: Skilled in negotiation, with strong verbal and written communication skills to manage relationships and contracts.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse sales performance data, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
