We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Universal Business Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our national field sales reps in achieving sales targets, developing accounts, and maximising sales.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in proactive sales, with excellent phone manner and the ability to build strong relationships with customers. They will also be persistent and results-driven, with a proven ability to meet KPIs over the phone.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with field sales reps to grow and maximise existing accounts
  • Making outbound telephone calls to follow up warm leads, quotes, and build customer relationships
  • Ensuring regular phone contact and field sales visits, coordinating and arranging appointments for the field sales reps
  • Following up actions from F2F visits and liaising with the internal sales/customer services to ensure quick customer response
  • Updating customer/prospect information on the software system and inputting relevant notes and call records

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in proactive sales
  • Easy-going phone manner and excellent at building rapport
  • Persistent and results-driven
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting KPIs over the phone
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Quick/fast-paced environments
