About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Orthopaedic subspecialty teams in both trauma and elective capacities. As an Orthopaedic Registrar or Middle Grade, you will be working under the direct supervision of a consultant orthopaedic surgeon, undertaking fracture clinics, elective and trauma operating lists. You will also be expected to undertake on-call commitments as part of the orthopaedic on-call team, covering general orthopaedic trauma, including spinal referrals out of hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake fracture clinics, elective and trauma operating lists under the direct supervision of a consultant orthopaedic surgeon.
- Undertake on-call commitments as part of the orthopaedic on-call team, covering general orthopaedic trauma, including spinal referrals out of hours.
- Work as part of the Orthopaedic subspecialty teams in both trauma and elective capacities.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time position, and you will be expected to work a standard 37.5 hour week. However, you may be required to work additional hours, including on-call commitments, to meet the needs of the service.
