Highway Design Manager

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Highways Engineer to join our Highways team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for working on highway and infrastructure schemes from feasibility through to implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Design and manage highway and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with company procedures and work instructions.
- Provide technical input into major and minor highway and infrastructure schemes, collaborating with clients and project teams.
- Supervise site-based projects, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
- Collaborate with local staff, contractors, and sub-consultants to deliver projects efficiently.
- Monitor and forecast the utilization of discipline team members, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Proven experience in highway design and construction, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of highway design and construction, with the ability to provide technical input and guidance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
