Highway Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Highways Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Highways team, you will be responsible for delivering highway and infrastructure projects from feasibility to implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Design Leadership: Provide design responsibility for Highways and Infrastructure projects, ensuring that all designs meet the required standards and specifications.
- Team Management: Utilize local staff, contractor staff, and sub-consultants to manage design and disciplines for projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Project Coordination: Collate project information and liaise with clients and client teams as required, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
- Site Supervision: Supervise site-based projects as required, ensuring that all works are completed safely and to the required standard.
- Technical Input: Provide technical input into major and minor highway and infrastructure schemes, ensuring that all designs meet the required standards and specifications.
- Project Execution: Execute site-based or head office functions, liaising with clients and other contractor staff to collect project-specific information as required by the Project Manager.
- Quality Assurance: Check and approve own and other staff work, including third-party design proposals, as identified in the Project Quality Plan on assigned projects.
- Additional Responsibilities: Carry out other duties identified in the Project Management Plan or as required by the Project Manager on assigned projects, including assisting in monitoring, planning, and forecasting the utilization of own discipline team members.
