Highway Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Highways Engineer to join our team as an integral member of the Highways team. As a Senior Highways Engineer, you will be responsible for working on highway and infrastructure schemes from feasibility through to implementation, providing expertise and direction to the project team on highway design and construction.
Key Responsibilities- Design and manage highway and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.
- Proven experience in highway and infrastructure design and delivery.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
