We are seeking a highly motivated and keen HR Administrator to join our administrative team in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Oxford. As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for undertaking the day-to-day administration of a departmental HR function and reporting to the HR Manager/Deputy Business Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confidently advise line managers and staff members on employment law, procedures, and policies.
  • Manage the administration of recruitment exercises, including designing effective job advertisements and job descriptions.
  • Work with managers to understand their staffing requirements and ensure compliance with University guidance and best practice.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining accurate records and databases.
Requirements:
  • Education to A level standard with GCSE (grade A-C) level English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a HR Team/HR Role, preferably with an electronic HR system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
