About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join our team at The Co-operative Bank plc. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with our customers, providing excellent customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of lending customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction with the service provided and maximizing business return.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the bank to deliver excellent customer service and achieve business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of operational policies and procedures, ensuring best practices are adopted and implemented.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial lending, with a strong understanding of credit skills and risk management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong customer service ethic, with a focus on delivering excellent service and meeting customer needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Confident decision-making and negotiation skills, with the ability to take the lead and drive business growth.
