Programme Manager Learning Disabilities Lead

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead our transformation programme for learning disabilities and autism in Barking and Dagenham. As a key figure in this role, you will collaborate across social care, health, and local communities to implement impactful changes and drive the implementation of recommendations from a recent review.
Key responsibilities- Finalise and execute a comprehensive strategy that addresses the needs of adults with learning disabilities and autism.
- Manage complex change processes at both programme and project levels, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead key projects, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure robust governance across the programme.
- Design and execute an effective communication strategy, engaging with all impacted stakeholders, and managing risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Oversee projects that support the broader objectives, such as implementing new technologies, upskilling staff, and introducing new ways of working.
- Previous experience delivering change within the complex statutory settings of adult and children's social care in England is essential.
- A degree or equivalent qualification/training (e.g., PRINCE 2, Agile, MSP) or equivalent experience is required.
