About this role

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead our transformative work programme aimed at enhancing support for residents with learning disabilities and autistic residents in Barking and Dagenham.

This is a unique opportunity to drive impactful changes across social care, health, and local communities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of vulnerable adults.

As a key figure in this role, you will be responsible for finalising and executing a comprehensive strategy that addresses the needs of adults with learning disabilities and autism, managing complex change processes, and ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead key projects and coordinate stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
  • Design and execute an effective communication strategy to engage with all impacted stakeholders
  • Manage risks and ensure robust governance across the programme
  • Oversee projects that support broader objectives, such as implementing new technologies and upskilling staff
