As a Learning Disabilities Nurse, you will have a strong background in assessing and developing care plans, as well as providing advice and expertise to other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop care plans for adults with learning disabilities
- Provide advice and expertise to other healthcare professionals
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
- Develop and implement specialist programmes of nursing and social care
- Provide education and training to carers and other healthcare professionals
- Current NMC registration as a Learning Disabilities Nurse
- Post-registration training in Learning Disabilities
- Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities
- Strong assessment and care planning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
