About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Learning Disability Liaison Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing expert care and support to patients with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical assessments and interventions for patients with learning disabilities, working closely with the Lead Nurse for LD and the safeguarding team.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of patients with learning disabilities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to learning disability care.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid RNLD qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience in learning disability nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
