Job Title: Band 5-6 Development Community Learning Disability Nurse

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be a registered Learning Disability Nurse responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities. The post holder will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care, ensuring that service users receive the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within the Integrated Community Learning Disability Team to ensure the provision of high-quality standards of care.
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure efficient delivery of care.
  • Develop and implement clinical governance to drive own clinical practice and ensure compliance with service requirements.
  • Provide specialist support to individuals with learning disabilities, enhancing their quality of life and promoting healthy living.
  • Use clinical expertise to inform decision-making and drive service improvement.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a registered Learning Disability Nurse with experience in community care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. The post holder will be expected to use their clinical expertise to inform decision-making and drive service improvement.
