Regional Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Learning Disability Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality evidence-based specialist nursing support for individuals with learning disabilities within the region.
Your primary responsibilities will include supporting services with the oversight and development of support plans, implementing best practice and Positive Behavioural Support (PBS). You will work closely with our PBS team to support services in training and implementation of individual PBS plans and interventions.
In addition, you will initiate, lead or participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of needs-led innovations within the region, such as training packages and policy development. You will ensure services are delivering person-centred care as evidenced by measurable clinical outcomes.
As a Regional Learning Disability Nurse, you will promote positive health care and maintenance of good health through education of clients and their families/carers. You will also participate in the setting, auditing and maintenance of standards to improve resident care and service provision.
