About this Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to lead a transformative work programme aimed at enhancing the support for residents with learning disabilities and autistic residents in Barking and Dagenham. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for finalising and executing a comprehensive strategy that addresses the needs of adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage complex change processes at both programme and project levels
* Ensure all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Lead key projects and coordinate stakeholders
* Ensure robust governance across the programme

About the Role

As a Programme Manager, you will have a deep understanding of national policy requirements and best practices related to learning disabilities, autism, and SEND. You will be responsible for managing the transformation programme and overseeing projects that support the broader objectives, such as implementing new technologies, upskilling staff, and introducing new ways of working.

Requirements

* Previous experience delivering change within the complex statutory settings of adult and children's social care in England is essential
* A degree or equivalent qualification/training (e.g., PRINCE 2, Agile, MSP) or equivalent experience is required
