Learning Disability Placement Officer

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Disability Placement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a background in sales, employer engagement, or recruitment and be able to build strong relationships with employers in the London area.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent role that requires the ability to work on your own initiative, maintain accurate records using IT-based systems, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
About the Role:- Secure work placements and jobs for young learners with learning disabilities and/or autism
- Develop and nurture stakeholder and partnership relationships with local employers
- Manage job coaches and ensure effective support for learners
As a Learning Disability Placement Officer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Supported Internship programme, which offers a range of benefits including skills development, confidence building, and progress towards paid work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with learners, employers, teaching professionals, and parents/carers
- Experience in employer engagement and marketing
