Autism Support Specialist Required

UKCIL Ltd is recruiting an Autism Support Specialist to provide daily support to a young woman with autism, enabling her to live independently.

The successful candidate will provide daily support to manage routine tasks, such as cooking and eating regularly, and ensure household administration is completed. This role also involves assisting with laundry, dishes, and other household tasks.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans with the individual.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the individual receives the best possible care.
Requirements
  1. Previous experience working with adults with autism is essential.
  2. A positive understanding of autism and its impact on individuals.
  3. A genuine passion for social care and supporting vulnerable individuals.
  4. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. Flexible and able to work independently.
  6. Emotionally resilient and able to cope with challenging situations.
Working Conditions
  • Part-time role: 3 hours per week.
  • Option to use personal transport or public transport.
  • Employer covers expenses.
Benefits
  • $25,500 annual salary (pro-rata).
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year.
