Independent Living Specialist

UKCIL Ltd is currently seeking an Independent Living Specialist to join our team in Bedlington. As a Care Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling an individual with autism to live independently and confidently manage their daily life.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting the individual with daily tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation. You will also be responsible for helping them to identify and access community resources, promoting their engagement in hobbies and interests, and supporting them to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
A strong understanding of autism and its impact on daily life is essential for this role. We require a compassionate and patient individual who can build trust with the person they will be supporting. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £25,500 per annum (pro-rata) and the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life.
