About the Role- As an Assistive Living Role, you will provide daily support to a young woman with autism, helping her to maintain independence and engage in her community.
- Your duties may include assisting with daily routines, such as cooking and cleaning, as well as supporting her participation in social activities.
- You will need previous experience working with adults with autism, or a strong desire to learn and develop your skills in this area.
- A positive attitude towards disability awareness and a commitment to social care are essential.
- Flexibility, reliability, and excellent communication skills are also vital for this role.
- A valid Enhanced DBS Check is required.
- This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 3 hours of work per week.
- Expenses associated with transportation will be reimbursed by the employer.
- The annual salary for this position is $25.5k (pro-rata).
- You will also receive 5.6 weeks of paid holiday per year.
