Ainscough Crane Hire is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover the Bristol region. The ideal candidate will have a background in general construction sales or hire, and a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of Managed Account Customers, covering major projects and framework revenues within the area operating model.
- Maintain and increase revenue for the territory to achieve and exceed on budgets, including developing a sales pipeline.
- Research key business sectors, use facts, figures, and tools to present plans, and forecast future goals and targets.
- Deal effectively and promptly with sales leads from across the business.
- Achieve predetermined monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in line with specific pricing guidelines.
- Negotiate contracts and framework agreements with new clients within agreed parameters.
- Prior sales role(s) and proven influencing and negotiation ability.
- An understanding of crane hire and the market is helpful but not essential, but a technical sales background is preferred.
- A high achiever who is career-oriented and likes to work to challenging goals.
- Educated to A-Levels.
- IT literate and familiar with Microsoft office products, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Hybrid working.
- Bi-Annual retention bonus.
