Job Title: Local Business Development Manager

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Local Business Development Manager to join our team at Mercedes Benz of Tonbridge. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for prospecting local businesses in the South East and Midlands, covering our 13 sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Increasing revenue and achieving sales growth by working towards agreed targets and objectives.
  • Managing the full sales cycles; from identifying new prospects to securing new opportunities, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Following sales best practices and monitoring/reporting on all sales activity as required
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with all potential and existing business/B2B customers and effectively selling our premium range of products.
  • Using your initiative and being proactive in coming forward with innovative ideas which could benefit the team and wider business.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, a dedication to flawless B2B customer service, and a passion for the motor trade industry.
  • Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade would be preferred but not essential.
  • A full UK driving license is required as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market.
