Job Overview
AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Lifecycle Manager to join our Warhead Containers team. Located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking, this role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced engineers to develop their skills in requirements definition, functional and physical architectural design, model-based systems engineering and verification and validation.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of complex engineering projects from concept through to delivery. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. A willingness to travel domestically and/or overseas for up to 4 weeks per year to support collaboration or trial activities is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
As an Engineering Lifecycle Manager, you will be responsible for leading/supporting project reviews for internal programmes and external contracts, including providing written reports and verbal briefs to management and stakeholders. You will also be required to maintain accurate records of project progress and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
An understanding and experience of Systems Engineering basic principles and how to apply these principles at various stages of a design lifecycle is required. Postgraduate degrees such as MEng, MSc, and/or PhD would also be welcome. Experience operating Systems Engineering software packages such as DOORS or Enterprise Architect is also necessary.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
