Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the Whitby area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS, KS1, and KS2 curricula and experience working with children with Additional Needs.

Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  1. Providing academic support to pupils in a primary setting
  2. Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  3. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents
Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with children in a primary setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • DBS clearance
